The collection consists of correspondence from William H. Moore to Cora McLean from 1917-1919. Moore writes from Milford Camp in England, La Belle, France, Sieglar, Germany, Jemappes, Belgium, Witley Camp, and Vancouver. Letters regard studying signaling, camp life, fellow soldiers, and his thoughts regarding local people. Moore's later letters regard working as a motion picture operator in Tacoma, Washington, his declined health, and trouble finding work as an electrician. The collection also includes a few correspondences to Cora McLean from other correspondents (1912-1918), and cartoon drawings of army life.
